In the last couple of years we have developed ourself to an expert in the feeding sector. We are already established in the market very well and want to continue with focussing on our "feeding chain".
From now on it´s official: We stop producing front loaders and use our whole energy to specialize more on the feeding. Starting at bringing in the silage to process the feed in the barn - we want to strengthen our core expertise in this range.
From the first import front loader to the full hydraulically "Long Life"
In 1964 Josef Frauscher developed the first removeable front loader, that was ever built in Austria. The mechanic import front loader, called "Mammut I" has also been the start of the development of the popular hydraulic loaders from Mammut.
"Already in the 80s my father decided to start producing full hydraulically loaders, which are standard today. Here we could offer many innovative solutions for our customers and were pioneer in case of technique & benefit.“, says Reinhold Frauscher, manager of Mammut.
Focus on feeding
The success of our feeding segment speaks for itself: Currently we are market leader in Austria with our silage shears and silage spreaders. Moreover we offer a wide range of machines for processing the feed - as for example flexible feed mixing systems up to 4 m³ volume or the feed refresher "Fortuna", which doesn´t only clean the barn but also improves the feeding behaviour of the animals.
Our goal is to still improve in this segment - best example is the brand new redesigned "Silo Cut", which sets new standards in the matter of light cut and felxibility in the silage removal. The feeding technique from Mammut does not only get used in Austria but also Europe-wide: Germany, The Netherlands, Siwtzerland and France count to our most important export markets.
What the future holds…
Customer service has always priority at Mammut: This is why we offer our spare part service for front loaders for another 20 years. New front loaders will be available while stocks last.
„Our company started and grew with the front loader. We had may content customers, which I personally want to thank for their trust in our product. Nonetheless it is important to specialize in one segment - which will be the feeding sector for us", explains Mr. Frauscher optimistically.
The Mammut team will now start with all their power into a new period of time and is looking forward to new challenges in the feeding technique.
